LCA study on ISCC certified circular polymers tested by Manucor show that carbon footprint reduction is about 2 kilograms of CO2 for each kilogram of BOPP produced via chemical recycling route in comparison to fossil route.
Furthermore, the same studies applied to certified renewable polymers, establish a reduction of carbon footprint of about 4 kg of CO2 for Kg of BOPP compared to fossil PP.
